Residents Bowl
Designed to foster a spirit of competition and Section pride, the AUA Residents Bowl is the not-to-be-missed event of AUA2023. Each of the eight AUA Sections will field a team of residents that includes one international trainee and go head-to-head in an ultimate battle of the brains. Now in its tenth year, the AUA Residents Bowl will test residents' knowledge in different urological subspecialties, the history of urology and important new research findings.
The Residents Bowl will be held in the Residents Pavilion (Booth #3203) in the Science & Technology Hall.

Catalina was born in Bogotá, Colombia where she lives with her parents and little sister. She studied medicine at Universidad de los Andes. After graduation, she performed a research fellowship at Urology Department, Hospital Universitario Fundación Santa Fe de Bogotá. Meanwhile, she became a Data Scientist from Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University. She is now a senior urology resident at Universidad Militar Nueva Granada and wants to perform a fellowship in functional urology. She also loves sports like tennis and running; and playing country music on her guitar and banjo.

Born and raised in Maine, Joshua Linscott attended Bates College where he played baseball and studied biochemistry. After graduating, he went on to earn a PhD from Weill Cornell before continuing to Tufts University School of Medicine. He entered residency with a strong interest in urologic oncology and will start an SUO fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center in 2023 upon graduation. His free time is spent with his amazing, beautiful wife and 3 children who are being raised to be the next generation of rabid Red Sox fans.

He is a lifelong jeopardy watcher and trivia-night attendee, and he dedicates his Resident Bowl performance to his dog Salvatore, son Benny and wife Justine.

He loves soccer and follows its news closely, Real Madrid fan. Fahad loves Middle Eastern cuisine and going to NYC on his time off to discover what the city has to offer. Born in a city in the interior of the state of Paraná - Brazil in 1994, Fellipe de Magalhães dedicated himself to enter a prestigious medical school, which he did between the years 2013-2018. In the internship he became interested in Urology due to the surgeries, as well as the themes of the specialty. Between 2019-2020, Fellipe attended the Basic Surgery Program with the intention of joining Urology, which he started in 2021. Among the various fields of the specialty, the ones that he is most enthusiastic about are Videolaparoscopy surgeries and especially Endourology, where he intends to intensify his studies and future professional career.

Jenny Guo is a 4th year urology resident at Northwestern University with an interest in endourology. Jenny is originally from the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia. Currently, Jenny is conducting a research year with mentor, Dr. Amy Krambeck, to design a novel mobile health platform designed for chronic kidney stone formers to evaluate improvements in quality of life and quantitative measures of stone risk.

Clark Judge is originally from the Chicagoland area. He went to Dartmouth College where he majored in Biology (molecular evolution) and played rugby. He went to Columbia P&S for medical school, where he discovered his interest in Urology and did research with Dr Peter Stahl. Clark will be doing an endourology fellowship at Yale next year. Personal interests include reading, board games, and sports (especially paddle tennis, pickleball, and golf).

Nikita Bhatt is a final year urology resident in the UK, having just passed her exit exam (FRCS Urol) in November 2022. She is representing the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS) at the Residents Bowl at AUA this year. She is the co-Chair of the British Urological Researchers in Surgical Training (BURST). This is an international research group producing high impact research using a collaborative model. She will represent both organizations at the AUA Global Residents Leadership Retreat and is hoping to liaise with urologists and residents from around the world to perform future studies with international collaboration. She has completed the Fellowship Examination in 2022 and enjoys research with previous focus on prostate cancer in Maori men.
