Annual Business Meeting

AUA Membership

The AUA Secretary will present membership trends and statistics at the Annual Business Meeting. A complete list of new members is available under the AUA Member Center. The AUA Historian will present the necrology report in memory of members who have passed away.

AUA Bylaws Committee

The AUA's Board of Directors and Bylaws Committee approve revisions to the bylaws during the Association year. Members may view the Bylaws to read the Committee Report which includes proposed amendments to be voted on at the Annual Business Meeting.

AUA Slate of Officers

The AUA will present the highlighted officers to the membership at the Annual Business Meeting. Members will vote to approve the North Central Section's nominee for President.

American Board of Urology

The AUA has four positions on the American Board of Urology (ABU) Board of Trustees. There are no open positions for the AUA to fill in February 2018. Therefore, the AUA did not solicit applications from the Sections for this cycle.

American College of Surgeons

  • Board of Governors – James Eastham, MD (Oct 2017-Oct 2020) The ACS also requires the AUA to submit an alternate in the unlikely event that Dr. Eastham is not approved for the position. Dr. James Ulchaker is recommended to serve as the alternate.
  • Advisory Council for Urology Young Fellow – Jay Raman, MD (Oct 2017-Oct 2020)
  • Commission on Cancer – Daniel Barocas, MD recommended to renew for a second term (Oct 2017-Oct 2020)
  • Joint Committee on Cancer – Michael Koch, MD recommended to renew for a second term (Oct 2017-Oct 2020)
