In an attempt to empower urology professionals to improve the quality of care they deliver, the American Urological Association (AUA) is planning to purchase a subscription to the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) Open School. The IHI Open School comprises 30+ online courses created by world-renowned faculty in quality improvement, patient safety, triple aim for populations, person- and family-centered care, graduate medical education courses, and leadership.

Some IHI Open School courses that may be of interest to AQUA Registry practices include:

If your practice is interested gaining access to the IHI Open School if the AUA purchases a subscription, please email Quality@auanet.org by June 23, 2024 and provide the name of your practice and how many individuals would need access. Space is limited so respond quickly!  Please note that the IHI Open School is already complimentary to students and residents and many academic institutions already have an IHI Open School subscription. The opportunity provided by the AUA would be specifically for individuals who do not have free access.

- EHR and PM system changes are not advisable beyond this point as it may delay the delivery of the AQUA Registry Dashboard.

July 1, 2024
- Deadline to sign-up, or upgrade, to an AQUA Registry MIPS reporting option for 2024.
